With eight years of classroom teaching experience, a Master’s degree in Literacy Education, and a strong background in Math Response to Intervention (RTI), I bring a lot more to each session than traditional tutoring.
My years teaching math intervention and small groups in a Central New York school district taught me how to work with kids at every skill level and pinpoint exactly where they need extra support. As a classroom teacher, I understand how children learn, where the gaps show up, and how to give each child the kind of personalized instruction that builds real skills and real confidence.
Megan has been a wonderful math tutor for my daughter these last few years. As an experienced teacher, she brings so much knowledge and professionalism to every session, but what really stands out is her patience and encouragement. My daughter never felt rushed or judged for not understanding something right away. Megan provides all of her own materials, is incredibly reliable, and has always been flexible when we needed to adjust our schedule.
